Idomeno
Bath Opera First performed in 1781, Mozart was only 25 when he wrote Idomeneo. This piece is now acknowledged as Mozart's first fully fledged masterpiece in the opera house. Now, it is more often performed as a concert piece, which is how it is to be performed by Bath Opera, allowing the magic of the music to shine through. |
