Sam Lee has performed at many of the major UK festivals. An apprentice to the great folk musicologist Stanley Robertson – who is passing on his vast legacy of Scottish ballads – he also travels in the footsteps of Peter Kennedy, collecting songs from the English Romany Gypsies and many other communities. |

With humour-driven lyrics, swinging acoustic string virtuosity and hot vocal harmonies, this duo is tighter than last year's swimsuit! Both former members of award-winning roots group Tanglefoot, Terry Young (guitar) and Sandra Swannell (fiddle) have created a vibrant new identity for themselves with their unique concoction of ‘hayseed jazz’. It’s an old-fashioned shotgun wedding of cool uptown swing and rural Canadian grit. |
