Two people live under an ever-changing military dictatorship, hurtling towards an uncertain future where the right can be wrong and the wrong might be right... Miren explores this dark tale of unfulfilled dreams, curfews and despair with an eye for the absurd in their unique tragi-comic style, combining physical theatre, slapstick and visually rich images. |

'I wish I were a Cat' is Miren's third show and unique tragic-comedy style is to tell stories not commonly addressed, combining physical theatre, slapstick, with visually rich images.
Miren Theatre was co-founded by Juan Herrera (Argentina) and Aggelika Spetseri (Greece) after they graduated from Circomedia in 2000.
They are committed to exploring the fascinating depths of clowning, pushing the boundaries of physical expression and expanding its vocabulary in order to communicate stories, exposing people from all backgrounds to issues not commonly addressed, in a way that resonates humour and truth.
