Failed by the education system, three young adults see the world from the confines of their council estate and rebel against the alien values of the status quo, their responsibility to themselves and society... diminished. Thought-provoking and often funny, Diminished has brought 22 year-old Bath-born writer Scott Carpenter to the attention of the BBC and playwright Edward Bond. “Diminished has a truth which Brechtian fragmentation cannot reach.” - Edward Bond |
