“I could be bounded in a nutshell, and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that I have bad dreams” - Hamlet
‘Infinite Space’ is a play which explores those bad dreams. It was inspired by the paranoia of modern life, by Hamlet, by the people walled up in the plague houses in Mary King Close under Edinburgh.
Two men inhabit a room. As the play develops it becomes clear what their connection with the outside world is, and how real the danger they perceive. In the process it explores the nature of our relationship with the fragile world we live in. The razor-sharp satirical instinct and anarchic energy of the company produces a truly edgy comedy.
