INNERROOM Theatre Company was formed in 1993 to produce accessible new theatre. The Company has produced ten indoor shows including The Fisher King, My Big Desk, The Dambusters and four street theatre pieces. The Company has worked with actors from Peepolykus (John Nicholson) Natural Theatre Company, Big State, Fair Play, Uninvited Guests, Circomedia Touring and Desperate Men. Innerroom works from Bath's hugely popular Rondo Theatre.
Samuel Hoggett and Henry Webb are administrators of administrative administration. They have worked systematically and routinely in an archaic office since the Magna Carter, co-ordinating all the major political events affecting “The British Empire”.
Following the success of The Truth About Hoggett & Webb (The Iraq War Satire), our immortal bureaucrats return to the stage in a stunning new play, The Chronicles of Hoggett & Webb. This lightning trip through contemporary history starts with the end of World War One, and finishes with these accomplished mandarins trying to make sense of “the War on Terror”.
Hoggett & Webb work relentlessly to ensure that events turn out to Britain's advantage, but the task seems insurmountable when it becomes impossible to determine who the enemy is and who “one of us” is.
