An ordinary man awakes one morning to find a police inspector at the foot of his bed. Unaware of his crime, he is plunged into a shadowy world full of incompetent policemen, over-zealous torturers, bemused judges, senile prison guards and lecherous inmates. Seamlessly fusing comedy, drama, slapstick and puppetry, Gonzo Moose create a hilarious, ludicrous and disturbingly anarchic world where anything can happen and frequently does! |

Gonzo Moose create accessible and hilarious physical comedy theatre for a wide range of audiences and age groups. Their work brings together a distinctive mixture of clowning, live and recorded music, theatre, slapstick and bizarre puppetry. The company's previous two shows, When In Rome and I Am A Viking toured nationally to great critical acclaim in theatres, colleges and arts centres.
“You Don't Need To Know That” is the story of one man trying to prove his innocence in impossible circumstances. Will he triumph against petty bureaucracy, corrupt officials, treachery, danger and death?
Inspired by Kafka's The Trial, this is an exhilarating collision of comedy, drama, and slapstick. Gonzo Moose create a hilarious and disturbingly anarchic world where anything can happen and frequently does.
