The impoverished Earl and Countess of Dunmow are expecting the Grand Duchess of Monteblanco and her son Prince Phillippe to dinner. They hope the wealthy Prince will be attracted to their daughter Susan. Of course, the course of true love never runs smoothly, and we will see and smell the main course for the dinner ?Tomates Monteblanco? prepared on stage with the help of Mrs. Kneebone. Formed 1995 to perform one-act comic operas with piano played by musical director Edna Blackwell. The singers are well known for their opera and concert work. The Rondo is their favourite venue.
The Rondo Theatre is supported by Bath and North East Somerset Council.
