This witty, humorous play tells how, when the Shelisfoot Thespians' planned production is cancelled, Michael's ambition to direct 'Macbeth' is realised. However he soon discovers that the theatrical jinx associated with Shakespeare's masterpiece transcends the professional stage and problems abound. Despite hitches he is determined' to overcome the shortfall of men, delicate backstage relationships and the wiles of the scheming society Diva. The show must go on! |

B.O.D.S. has been in existence for well over a century and is best known for lavish and spectacular musicals at the Theatre Royal, the most recent being 'Hello Dolly' in April this year. This society, with its diverse talents, is no stranger to The Rondo and follows last year's productions at this venue of Alan Aykbourn's 'A Chorus of Disapproval' and the musical 'Honk' bv Stiles.
The Rondo Theatre is supported by Bath and North East Somerset Council.
