Bristol's highly acclaimed comedy improvisation company are delighted to be returning to The Rondo. With their trademark completely improvised show that brings you sketches, gags, songs, surreal situations, flying packets of Instant Whip and prizes - and all shaped around audience suggestions. It's an improvised comedy show, similar to that of the Comedy Store Players or t.v.'s “Whose Line is it Anyway”. Comprised of sketches, musical and non- musical formats everything is based around audience suggestions. However, no-one in the audience is picked on or made to look stupid and if you don't want to contribute it's fine to sit back and enjoy the contributions of others.
Instant Wit was formed in 1995 and is owned and run by 4 professional actors. There is a pool of about a dozen actors and seven musicians who perform regularly. As well as playing theatres and art centres, Instant Wit is also involved in several rural touring circuits and is frequently used as corporate entertainment.
The Rondo Theatre is supported by Bath and North East Somerset Council.
