Bath’s finest progressive pop trio Port Erin launch their long awaited debut album I’ll Be On The Common after their sublime EP The Deads sold over 1000 copies and received acclaim from critics and fans alike.
The launch marks the start of a national tour. Cerys Brocklehurst’s “impeccably crisp beats”, Jacob Tyghe’s “punchy proto-funk bass” and Reuben Tyghe’s “gentle giant of a voice” combine to create a sound that is set to wow crowds across the country.
The band hail from the depths of the Wiltshire countryside where they grew up together. They still write in the small village of Broughton Gifford, maintaining their dedication to music in the West Country.
With inspiration from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Buckley, Elbow, Frank Zappa and The Roots Port Erin have mastered a unique sound and earned themselves a dedicated fanbase.
Catch them while you can, these guys are gonna go far…
