Since Great Britain was first formed over 300 years ago, it has struggled with its identity. It’s made up of several fiercely independent countries, the monarchy is German, the national motto is French and our national animal comes from Africa.

Before now Mark Allen has always been happy to pass this off as just one of the quirky characteristics of Britain but in June of this year, hundreds of thousands of British people voted the BNP into the European parliament. Suddenly, our identity crisis just got more serious, and Mark is determined to sort it out once and for all.

In this all-new updated show, Mark Allen - documentary comedian, investigative funnyman and proud citizen of the UK - looks at what it actually means to be British. Is this country still Great, or is it just Quite Good?

Allen is a comic with something new to say - The Guardian

Tickets: £10, Concs£8 Comedy
