Rondo favourites New Old Friends return with a five-star show that fully fulfils its title; there are songs, they are silly, and they are loosely connected to Shakespeare. But fear not those who aren’t devotees of the Bard’s work, this is a show so musically and comically inventive that even those who hate the nation’s poet will enjoy. Spend the evening with Fearg and The Songettes; the world’s first Shakespearean tribute band. There is a plethora of different musical styles and interpretations on display, each one as silly as the last and guaranteed to make you laugh.
“a riotous evening of amiable lunacy... leaving this critic gasping at the sheer skill of it. Genius.” – ***** Venue Magazine |
