The meetings will encourage existing writers and help those who have an ambition to write to get started.The Rondo hosts a playwriting forum for anyone who is writes scripts at any level. The perfect opportunity to share ideas, identify problems and work through some of the tricks of the trade. There will be visits from theatre professionals to give advice on getting your work shown.
Age 18 upwards. 8.00pm. Led by Dougie Blaxland. Cost: £30 for two terms.
The Rondo Writers’ meetings will begin again on Monday September 20th at The Rondo at 8.00pm. New members are welcome to come along.
The Rondo’s Artistic Director Ian Mc Glynn will talk to the group on the 20th about what professional directors want from a script. This is an absolute must for those writers who want to see their work staged professionally.
We will also be announcing details of the New Writing Festival which the Rondo will be staging in Spring 2011 so you must, must, must make a point of coming to our first session if you'd like to participate.
